Why You Should Stop Social Network Stalking

“Private Profile” is the worst two words for a girl who is jealous or trying to get dirt. Girls do it all of the time,  they think that it is going to make their crush suddenly realize them or the girlfriend of the guy will suddenly become ugly if she looks at her profile.  Pretty much all girls do it, and I’ll admit I do it too. Everyone in the technology generation tends to take a moment out of each day to type in a certain name into the search engine and spend time looking at pictures or seeing what they are all about.  If you are one of those people, STOP, you are killing your inner diva.

With every click, every picture and every thought, you are living in cyberspace and not in life. Online obsessions or someone you make sure you look at every day can pull you away from reality and make you either sad or happy, but most definitely take you away from the world.  Every girl should be able to find satisfaction in being rather than seeming. Internet stalking is more about seeming rather than reality find satisfaction in reality rather than the internet because reality has a more chance of being real.

Reasons Why People “Internet Stalk” and how to stop:

  • Jealousy < Moving on
  • Crushes: Talking and getting to know them > looking at their profile
  • Being the best you can be > getting dirt on someone
  • Spending time in reality > cyberspace
  • Getting to know someone face to face > chat rooms

When you sit there on your computer all day looking at what you don’t have or wish you had instead of working for it breaks your inner awesome or diva. Find time to live for yourself and not obsess over what the computer has to say.

O no she didn’t tip of the week: Don’t look at your ex’s Facebook, Instagram or Twitter, this will not help you move on or live in reality. Just stay off of it, trust me, without seeing what is going on in their life you will have more time to focus on your own.
