New Mexico Author Announces New Release

Albuquerque – Today, Jamie Dickerman—a lifelong New Mexican—announced the upcoming release of her newest book, On the Trail. The novel, which is expected to release in late spring 2014, will be published by Triplicity Publishing, LLC.

“It is an honor to work with Triplicity and to be able to pursue my passion of writing even more in depth than I have done in the past,” said Dickerman. “This story is incredibly dear to my heart, as it seeks to explain and personalize the career in which I spent six years of my life. Most of the time, people see political operatives and campaign workers as dehumanized and easily categorized, when the truth is that each of them are struggling to find the balance of managing their work and personal lives. I’m honored to have received a publishing contract and am sincerely grateful to all who have supported my writing endeavors—both past and present.”

On the Trail tells the story of a rag-tag campaign team, who must learn to ride the rollercoaster of ups and downs provided by the politico lifestyle. Surviving mainly on pre-packaged snack foods, next to zero sleep, and snarky humor, this unlikely team faces the ugly truths of the campaign cycle as their world is turned upside down by the scandal of the century. Its sequel is in the works and will also be published by Triplicity.

“While I have worked on my share of campaign teams, this story is purely fictional and meant only to entertain,” continued Dickerman. “I believe that this novel showcases the ways in which I have grown as an author, and it is my hope that it will be an enjoyable read for all.”
